Mountain Brewed
A trip to the White Mountains isn’t complete without a trip to Tuckerman Brewing. Enjoy rotating lunch specials, brick oven pizza served daily, and beer that has been the staple of this community since 1998. We have an indoor tasting room, outdoor beer garden, and live music every week. Keep up to date with everything happening by following us on social media, and by checking out our events page at TuckermanBrewing.com.
Who We Are
Founded in 1998 by owners Kirsten Neves and Nik Stanciu, Tuckerman Brewing is one of the longest running owner-operated breweries in New England. We’re most widely known for our first beer ever produced, the Tuckerman Pale Ale. As the brewery has grown we’ve expanded our lineup to include stouts, brown ales, kolsch, pilsners, New England IPA’s and ciders, but never forgot the attention to detail and precision that made the original Pale Ale so popular. The brewery has moved three times since 1998, but we’ve always been in the town of Conway.
Tuckerman Brewing has thrived with local support, and we’re more than happy to give back to the community. You can find community events being hosted here, and we’re proud supporters of the Mt. Washington Observatory, the Mt. Washington Avalanche Center, and many other local groups. Several years ago we adopted the Boulder Loop Trail through the National Forest Service’s adopt-a-trail program, so you might see our crew up there from time to time doing maintenance.
The Mt. Washington Valley is more than just where we make beer, it’s our home too. We value sustainable practices to help preserve what makes this place so special. If you’re in our beer garden, you are standing on top of tanks that collect rain water that we use to water the field. The new addition to the tasting room was made with recycled barn wood and ACRE, a sustainable wood-like material. The spent grain from the brewing process is sent to local farms as cow food (they love it). The outdoor bar is made from a repurposed shipping container, and as of 2024, the brewery is partially powered by solar panels on our roof.
So come grab a beer after your White Mountain adventures, and know that you are truly supporting local. if you can’t make it up here, you can find our beer in stores in NH, MA and ME.
