The 10^th Annual Red Parka Yacht Club Downhill Regatta is scheduled for March 25^th at Black Mt.  If any of you would like to put a team together or to donate a prize for the winners, please let me know.  The entry fee for a whole team (regardless of how many) is $25.  This is always a wild and crazy leap into Spring.  All proceeds benefit the Red Parka Scholarship Fund in honor of Dewey Mark.  Thank you for your consideration!

The Shannon Door Pub will be hosting a great fundraiser on Jan. 24th for Brenda and Eben Moss, our local sign-smith, who lost his home and business to fire on Christmas night while his wife and mother-in-law were in Maine Med following a head on collision 9 days earlier. And to make it even worse she was driving her mom to Chemo for breast cancer. Shannon Door Pub will donate $2.00 off every pizza sold that night (On takeout too). We have tons of great prizes for the raffle, Silent Auction too. Event starts when we open music and raffle will start around 6. Raffle tickets on sale at The Door, The Red Parka and The Scarecrow Pub and J-Town Deli & Country Store.
